The Administrative Officer is responsible for maintaining the Jhpiego Administrative office including to ensure cleanliness, functioning phone system, maintaining telephone contact information, and ensuring prompt and timely assistance to all visitors, coordinate on local, regional and zonal travel, Hotel bookings and other administrative issues. The Technical Officer, Family planning will provide technical support in TCI Rapid Scale Initiative Model in Geita District Council and Kilosa District Council, especially in the assessment, design, and implementation and monitoring of the demand driven approach in the delivery of family planning selected two geographies (district councils). Assist in ensuring sustainable adoption of family Planning (FP) innovations in the two locations.This position is open to Tanzanian nationals only and the applications will be received by 8th June, 2023.
The Chief of Party (COP) will provide technical leadership and project oversight for an upcoming USAID-funded Health System Strengthening project which aims to improve and promote access to quality health services for Liberians. The project will operate over a two-year period with an additional 3 years depending on performance.
The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership, management and reporting of project activities. The COP will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and program quality and integrity. The COP will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID, on routine and strategic matters. The COP will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with the government of Liberia at all levels, and international partners and agencies. The COP will be an expert in public health and health systems, with proven experience managing comparable health programs and experience managing USAID contracts.

The Deputy Chief of Party / Technical Director will provide technical leadership for an upcoming USAID-funded Health System Strengthening project which aims to improve and promote access to quality health services for Liberians. The project will operate over a two-year period with an additional 3 years depending on performance.
The position will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and Jhpiego’s senior management team, and will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all project activities. In collaboration with project team and partners, the position will support the design and delivery of strategic wrap around technical assistance (TA) activities at national, county, district and facility levels to strengthen critical components of the health system to improve access to and affordability of health services. TA will support decentralization of health structures to drive health system performance; strengthen delivery of high-quality health services; and reduce out-of-pocket spending on healthcare for Liberians.

Jhpiego seeks a Finance and Administration (F&A) Director to provide financial and administrative management for an upcoming USAID-funded Health System Strengthening project which aims to improve and promote access to quality health services for Liberians. The project will operate over a two-year period with an additional 3 years depending on performance.
The F&A Director will provide financial and administrative management, overseeing all financial, contractual, information technology, human resources, and procurement aspects for the upcoming project. S/he will ensure that the financial reports are compatible with standard accounting practices and follow Jhpiego and USAID rules and regulations.

The Malaria Advisor for an upcoming USAID-funded Health System Strengthening project which aims to improve and promote access to quality health services for Liberians will provide technical leadership and project oversight in all malaria interventions during the 5-year project.
The position will operate under the leadership of the Deputy Chief of Party and will serve as part of Jhpiego’s senior management team. The Malaria Advisor will ensure the technical and methodological soundness of activities and, in collaboration with the project team and partners, support the design of service delivery strategies, based on sound and current scientific evidence. The Malaria Advisor will provide technical support to ensure that activities are designed and implemented with high quality and meet project targets. The Malaria Advisor will mentor and build capacity of health workers, address technical issues at national and subnational levels, including advocacy for malaria prevention and control prioritized at all levels. The Malaria Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of malaria project interventions, develop low-cost job aids and tools that reflect practical solutions to enable National / County / District Health Teams scale-up, and ensure timely and cost-effective project implementation and reporting of activities.

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Director will provide technical leadership, oversight and strategic direction for the design and implementation of MERL activities for an upcoming USAID-funded Health System Strengthening project which aims to improve and promote access to quality health services for Liberians. The project will operate over a two-year period with an additional 3 years depending on performance.
The MERL Director will provide technical leadership to strengthen health information systems, develop project framework, plans and indicators to capture performance results and provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities. The MERL Director will supervise and manage the MERL team’s efforts to strengthen data systems, improve data quality, do analysis, report, and design and implement project MERL activities, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes. The MERL Director is responsible for documenting and disseminating project successes and challenges to USAID. The MERL will manage donor relations on MER issues, liaise with consortium partners and the Ministry of Health to strengthen national HMIS capacity and implement monitoring and evaluation activities. This position will also supervise digital health staff, including managing the Information Systems team member, which requires a strong understanding of data integration and interoperability concepts.

The Regional MNH-FP Supervisor will provide support to the relevant regions of CNHA programs for Jhpiego Bangladesh. S/he will work very closely with different consortium members of the CNHA project to integrate the continuum of MNH&FP care from facility to community. The position is focused on engaging communities in situational analysis, designing program strategies, implementation and monitoring of program results in the particular region. The position will also focus on addressing gender issues related to uptake of health services, especially, respectful care, gender-based violence, male norms and involvement, and addressing user barriers. To effectively engage communities, the position will also provide leadership at the regional level in providing technical and managerial expertise for local CSOs to support community-based interventions.

Under the supervision of Country Lead, the senior technical manager is responsible for coordinating activity programming, action plan formulation, presentation of JHPIEGO in-country, financial oversight, and business development activities. S/he is the primary contact for all information and requests for technical or programmatic assistance for all CNHA activities including involvement in in country NPD activities.
