Depuis plus de 40 ans et dans plus de 155 pays à travers le monde, Jhpiego œuvre pour prévenir les décès inutiles de femmes et de leurs familles. The Senior Technical Advisor will  provide technical leadership and project oversight in the area of Surveillance Monitoring, Evaluation and Research for an upcoming five-year $25-50 million USAID Global Health Security (GHS) activity in Pakistan. The goal of the Activity is to build Pakistan’s capacities to prevent, detect and rapidly respond to new and emerging infectious diseases. The GHS activity will strengthen existing Pakistan’s One Health systems, entities, structures, all towards building a resilient, sustainable response to emerging infectious disease threats. In line with USAID’s vision for Health System Strengthening 2030, the activity will work on strengthening existing health systems that uphold equity, optimize resources and efficiency and ensure quality.   The Senior Technical Advisor will lead and design surveillance systems strengthening interventions to impact global health security in collaboration and coordination among key stakeholders including the Department of Health (DoH).   This position is contingent upon award from USAID. Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Communication and Knowledge Management Officer. Jhpiego seeks a Finance and Operations Director to provide financial and administrative management for an upcoming USAID-funded MNCH project in Mozambique.  The $50+ million project aims to strengthen the efficient and sustainable provision of evidence-based maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) care through the delivery of technical support that increases the capacity of the health management system. The project will operate over a 5-year period.    The Director will provide financial and administrative management, overseeing all financial, contractual, information technology, human resources, and procurement aspects for the project. The Director will ensure that the financial reports are compatible with standard accounting practices and follow Jhpiego and USAID rules and regulations.   This position is contingent upon award from USAID. The Technical Director will oversee technical assistance at the National, Provincial, and District levels. strengthen the efficient and sustainable provision of evidence-based maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) care through the delivery of technical support that increases the capacity of the health management system. The project will operate over a 5-year period.    The position will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and Jhpiego’s senior management team and will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all project activities. The project is expected to operate over a five-year period. The Technical Director will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and with the senior management team, and will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all project activities. In collaboration with project team and partners, the position will support the design and implementation of programmatic strategies and approaches based on scientific evidence and best practices. Brindará asistencia técnica para la gestión, implementación y monitoreo de las actividades de GHS para el Proyecto de Salud y Nutrición de USAID implementado por Jhpiego. Este proyecto tiene como objetivos: 1) mejorar el acceso y la utilización de servicios de salud de calidad y 2) el fortalecimiento del sistema de salud, gobernanza y recursos humanos en salud.  El proyecto operará durante un período de cinco años y 3) Desarrollar las capacidades organizacionales y técnicas del socio receptor, ASECSA.   Las responsabilidades incluyen proporcionar asistencia técnica al Ministerio de Salud y Asistencia Social (MSPAS) en las áreas de salud y los distritos del área de intervención del proyecto sobre la estrategia GHS. Deberá promover y garantizar la solidez técnica y metodológica de las actividades y, en colaboración con el equipo del proyecto y los socios, apoyará el diseño de estrategias de prestación de servicios, basadas en evidencia científica sólida y actualizada.

  Brindará asistencia técnica y programática en el diseño, gestión implementación y monitoreo de las actividades de GHS para el Proyecto de Salud y Nutrición de USAID implementado por Jhpiego. Este proyecto tiene como objetivos: 1) mejorar el acceso y la utilización de servicios de salud de calidad; 2) el fortalecimiento del sistema de salud, gobernanza y recursos humanos en salud y 3) Desarrollar las capacidades organizacionales y técnicas del socio receptor, ASECSA.   Las responsabilidades incluyen proporcionar liderazgo y orientación técnica a nivel central del Ministerio de Salud y Asistencia Social (MSPAS), en las áreas de salud y los distritos del área de intervención del proyecto sobre la estrategia GHS. Deberá promover y garantizar la solidez técnica y metodológica de las actividades tanto clínicas como de laboratorio en las áreas de IPC (Control y prevención de infecciones) como de AMR (Resistencia antimicrobiana) y, en colaboración con el equipo del proyecto y los socios, apoyará el diseño de estrategias de prestación de servicios, basadas en evidencia científica sólida y actualizada.   Considerando que estas acciones se implementan en el contexto de “Una Salud”, el asesor deberá promover la coordinación con otros socios de USAID y sectores involucrados, como FAO y líderes del sector ambiente y salud.
