The Senior Technical Advisor will  provide technical leadership and project oversight in the area of Surveillance Monitoring, Evaluation and Research for an upcoming five-year $25-50 million USAID Global Health Security (GHS) activity in Pakistan. The goal of the Activity is to build Pakistan’s capacities to prevent, detect and rapidly respond to new and emerging infectious diseases. The GHS activity will strengthen existing Pakistan’s One Health systems, entities, structures, all towards building a resilient, sustainable response to emerging infectious disease threats. In line with USAID’s vision for Health System Strengthening 2030, the activity will work on strengthening existing health systems that uphold equity, optimize resources and efficiency and ensure quality.   The Senior Technical Advisor will lead and design surveillance systems strengthening interventions to impact global health security in collaboration and coordination among key stakeholders including the Department of Health (DoH).   This position is contingent upon award from USAID. Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Communication and Knowledge Management Officer. This position will lead the core Policy and Advocacy portfolio within the HealthTech Hub Africa (HTHA) project. The Regional Government Affairs and Partnership Directorwill work under the overall supervision and guidance of theDirector, Advocacy and Accountability for Global Programs, Jhpiego, with administrative oversight assistance from the HTHA Director. The position will lead the overall strategic organizing, planning and delivery of the policy and advocacy portfolio in close collaboration with the HTHA core team, advisory committee, donors and partners. Additionally, this role will lead donor reporting and engagement on the Policy Blueprint activities, contributing to the development of HTHA’s long-term sustainability plan, strategic partnership engagement and management, communications, and monitoring and evaluation for the policy and advocacy portfolio.   The position will lead HTHA’s policy agenda setting, strategy development, and overall engagement of complex, high-level and diverse partner, government and investor engagements to deliver the project’s policy and advocacy objectives. In addition to leading strategic negotiations and collaboration with states and non- state actors, the position will lead creation of technical resources and documents, and targeted capacity development.   Basic Salary range per year : USD 32,000 to 60,000 (subject to taxation and statutory deductions).

Jhpiego seeks a Finance and Operations Director to provide financial and administrative management for an upcoming USAID-funded MNCH project in Mozambique.  The $50+ million project aims to strengthen the efficient and sustainable provision of evidence-based maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) care through the delivery of technical support that increases the capacity of the health management system. The project will operate over a 5-year period.    The Director will provide financial and administrative management, overseeing all financial, contractual, information technology, human resources, and procurement aspects for the project. The Director will ensure that the financial reports are compatible with standard accounting practices and follow Jhpiego and USAID rules and regulations.   This position is contingent upon award from USAID. The Technical Director will oversee technical assistance at the National, Provincial, and District levels. strengthen the efficient and sustainable provision of evidence-based maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) care through the delivery of technical support that increases the capacity of the health management system. The project will operate over a 5-year period.    The position will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and Jhpiego’s senior management team and will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all project activities. The $35 million project aims to increase high-quality health care for vulnerable Filipinos and improve sustainable health outcomes that align with US Government, USAID, and Philippine government objectives. The project is expected to operate over a five-year period. The Technical Director will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and with the senior management team, and will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all project activities. In collaboration with project team and partners, the position will support the design and implementation of programmatic strategies and approaches based on scientific evidence and best practices. Brindará asistencia técnica para la gestión, implementación y monitoreo de las actividades de GHS para el Proyecto de Salud y Nutrición de USAID implementado por Jhpiego.
