The Sr. Technical Advisor I, Digital Health will provide leadership and technical assistance for the strategic integration of information and communication technology (ICT) within Jhpiego’s health systems strengthening programs. Jhpiego’s Digital Health interventions include a range of mHealth, eHealth, and eLearning technologies, primarily in the areas of:
- Health systems development and strengthening
- Health care service delivery
- Performance and quality improvement/assurance
- Training, supporting and supervising health care workers • Behavior change communication
The Sr. Technical Advisor I, Digital Health position requires public health, information systems and technology knowledge, experience leading Digital Health implementations in the field, and keen organizational and management skills.
The Project Director is responsible for leading the Gateway CDC funded project for Malawi. S/he leads the technical direction and management oversight with the deputy Project Director in the areas of HIV testing, prevention, linkage to care, and treatment, viral suppression and retention, and DREAMS initiatives for adolescent girls and young women. S/he will ensure that project implementation strategies, interventions and approaches are implemented with fidelity and in accordance with the latest evidence, policies, best practices, national and international guidelines, and are PEPFAR and donor compliant. S/he is responsible for supporting the deputy Project Director to provide strategic leadership and direction and management of district teams so they are able to achieve daily, weekly and quarterly project targets, whilst driving innovative approaches for a highly targeted approach to HTS, and ensuring facilities supported by the Gateway project are performing as centers of excellence. S/he will use a data driven approach to problem solve, strategize and focus interventions. S/he will ensure that local sub-partners perform according to their agreement and assist in enhancing their capacity to deliver with the project team. S/he will be responsible for representing the project and ensuring effective collaboration with the donor and Ministry of Health (MOH) to ensure alignment with their priorities. S/he will ensure timely and cost-effective project implementation and reporting, and will ensure that the project delivers on scope, on schedule and on budget. S/he will supervise a team of highly qualified staff and will report to the Country Director and may act on occasions in her absence.
Jhpiego seeks a Senior Finance & Administration Manager for the USAID/Mali Health System Strengthening (HSS) Activity. The HSS Activity aims toincrease Malians' ability to plan, finance, and manage their health system and their own health at the family, household, community, district, regional, and national levels. The project will build the capacity and commitment of Malians to achieve sustained improvements in the health status of Malians through the following results: 1) Access to high-quality health services expanded; 2) Demand for and use of health services increased; and 3) Individual and household adoption of healthy behaviors increased.

Jhpiego seeks a Director of Health Information Systems (HIS) for the USAID/Mali Health System Strengthening (HSS) Activity. The purpose of this role is to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) and agencies within the health sector to improve the effectiveness and use of quality data from the various sources of health information in the country. The HSS Activity aims toincrease Malians' ability to plan, finance, and manage their health system and their own health at the family, household, community, district, regional, and national levels. The project will build the capacity and commitment of Malians to achieve sustained improvements in the health status of Malians through the following results: 1) Access to high-quality health services expanded; 2) Demand for and use of health services increased; and 3) Individual and household adoption of healthy behaviors increased.
The Director of HIS will provide technical, strategic advice and programmatic direction for the capacity building of government agencies in the development and implementation of the HIS aspects of the activity, for optimizing the generation, identification, collection, processing, storage, and dissemination of quality data and strategic information. The expert technical advice provided will be used to support the technical assistance, and political direction provided by the activity to key government and non-government partners.
S/he will lead project activities related to and implementation organizations in data use, data systems architecture, and health information systems governance. S/he will provide technical and strategic direction, leadership, and management oversight to ensure transfer of knowledge and skills to stakeholders across the health system. S/He will coordinate and liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies, other donor-funded projects, implementing partners, USAID and other donors, and data consumers ensure capacity is strengthened.

Director, Immunization needed to lead efforts to identify opportunities to diversify and deepen Jhpiego’s portfolio of Global Immunization Programs, including creating a strategic value proposition for the organization in the space of Immunization and to provide technical leadership and manage Jhpiego’s programs related to Immunization services. Director also ensures the technical and programmatic integrity of all immunization programs. In collaboration with partner agencies, country and HQ based teams, the position will lead and support the design and implementation of policies, strategies, programs and operational service delivery strategies for improving the equitable access and utilization of existing and new vaccines.
This position may be located at Jhpiego HQ in Baltimore, Maryland, USA or internationally in a country with a Jhpiego office.
Pricing Administrator supports Jhpiego’s Resource Development Operations and works closely with the Resource Development Office, Global Human Resources and Program Technical Staff to prepare compliant, complex cost proposals to ensure successful completion and responsiveness of Jhpiego’s proposals for new business.
The Project Director will provide vision, overall technical and programmatic leadership, and managerial oversight for a PEPFAR/CDC-funded voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) for HIV prevention project in eSwatini. The Project Director will ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective implementation and reporting, as well as the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity of the project. The Project Director will also serve as the senior most organizational representative of Jhpiego in country. This project is expected to last through September 2020 and is contingent upon annual funding from CDC. Eswatini nationals are highly encouraged to apply. This project is based in Eswatini.
Jhpiego seeks a Chief of Party (COP) to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for the upcoming USAID MOMENTUM (Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Family Planning and Reproductive Health) APS Round 1 “MNCH/FP/RH Service Delivery in Fragile Settings”. MOMENTUM Round 1 seeks to support countries early in their journey to self-reliance to overcome the impacts of fragility on the population’s health and contribute to countries’ movement along the development continuum toward reduced maternal and child mortality and increased self-reliance. The project will operate over a five-year period.
The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of global and country-level project activities. S/he will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. S/he will manage long- and short-term technical expertise across all result areas, and ensure the project meets the stated goals and reporting requirements, and will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID on routine and strategic matters. S/he will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with the host country government at all levels, and international partners and agencies.

The Monitoring Manager will provide technical leadership and strategic vision for monitoring activities for an upcoming Fleming Fund Country Grant in Bangladesh The project aims to address critical gaps in surveillance of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) bacteria in Bangladesh. The project will focus on establishing and strengthening national AMR surveillance, reporting and research systems and workforce capacity. The project will operate over a 21-month period with the likelihood of further funding for future program phases. Working closely with the project’s management and technical staff, the Monitoring Manager will lead development of an M&E system that will capture high-quality, relevant and timely data that is used for programmatic decision-making to continuously improve the quality of interventions and outcomes. The Monitoring Manager is also responsible for documenting and disseminating project successes and challenges to the Flemming Fund.

The Team Leader, Animal Healthwill provide expert guidance, leadership and support in the area of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) and antimicrobial-usage (AMU) surveillance in food animals. S/he will develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders including government officials and non-governmental stakeholders and will ensure that animal health project outputs are met as per timeline and within budget.The upcoming Fleming Fund in health project Country Grant in Bangladesh aims to address critical gaps in surveillance of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) bacteria in Bangladesh. The project will operate over a three-year period. This position reports to the Project Director.
