Jhpiego seeks a Chief of Party (COP) to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded Global Health Security (GHS) activity in Ethiopia. The project aims to reduce the impact of infectious disease outbreaks on morbidity and mortality through building a resilient One Health (OH) surveillance, diagnostics and workforce development capacities.
The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of all project activities. The COP will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. They will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID and the Ethiopian Government on routine and strategic matters.
The project is expected to operate over a five-year period.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer/President, this pivotal position will be instrumental in driving the development of long-term organizational strategies on a global scale. This entails overseeing funding from a variety of sources, including US government agencies, international development organizations, foundations, and corporations.
Key responsibilities of this role include establishing strategic priorities for global development initiatives, aligning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with organizational goals, and ensuring that Jhpiego's mission, vision, and values are reflected in all opportunities pursued. Additionally, the Vice President will lead a team of development professionals, providing guidance in engaging donors and partners, leading development activities, preparing proposals, and managing post-award activities including financial negotiation.
This role plays a critical part in systematically building organizational capacity to generate resources in support of Jhpiego’s mission and contributes significantly to addressing organizational challenges and advancing problem-solving as a member of Jhpiego’s Leadership Team.

Jhpiego is hiring a Consultant Midwifery - for rolling out the Nurse Practioner in Midwifery Educator (NPME) course and establishing ‘Midwifery-led Care Units’ to transform maternal and neonatal health care. Consultant will work under the supervision State Head UNFPA Rajasthan, & Lead Midwifery -Nursing Jhpiego India, support the implementation of the program’s annual work plan by assisting in designing, tracking and supporting the implementation and monitoring of respective training program activities.
Duration of consultancy: 06 months
The Intern Learning and Research will be reporting to the Advisor Program Learning and Research. Assist in Research and Learning implementation including coordination of IRB applications and studies field implementation activities.
After completion of the internship, the Intern will be knowledgeable on Research Guidelines, IRB application processes and logistics for implementation research in Tanzania. S/he will also be equipped with IRB application systems, Research conduct, research reporting and filling systems of research documents as per Regulatory Binders systems. This Internship Program will be based in Mwanza Region.

The Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research/Learning Director will provide technical leadership, oversight and strategic direction for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for an upcoming USAID health service project in Madagascar. The project will operate over an anticipated five-year period.
The MERL Director will provide technical leadership to develop project framework, M&E systems and indicators to capture performance results and provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities. The MERL Director will supervise and manage the M&E team and oversee the collection, management, analysis and use of project data, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes. The Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research/Learning Director is responsible for developing a research and learning agenda for the activity, and ensuring the methodological rigor of research undertaken. They will document and disseminate project successes, challenges and lessons learned to USAID. The Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research/Learning Director will also be responsible for designing and conducting assessments, operations research and evaluations to address project needs. The Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research/Learning Director will liaise with and support consortium partners and the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) to implement monitoring and evaluation (and learning) activities.
