The NPD KM Intern will support Jhpiego staff and departments with research, consultations, and analyses that will contribute to advancing the NPD function.
The Sr. Technical Advisor will provide technical expertise in Immunization to ensure delivery of high-quality technical approaches to support Jhpiego’s global and country immunization portfolio. This may include new vaccine introductions, life-course vaccines in infancy, adolescence and adulthood, innovations in campaign and routine approaches to immunization service delivery, and community engagement to promote vaccine uptake. Technical themes will emphasize life-course vaccines from the new-born period onwards, including adolescence, pregnancy and adulthood; integration with other primary health care, and prevention of specific infections such as human papillomavirus (HPV), measles, rubella, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19, hepatitis B, malaria and tuberculosis.
The Sr. Technical Advisor will lead or support specific areas within this portfolio, as designated by the Technical Director, Immunization. They will work with Jhpiego’s global and country project teams, to institutionalize good practice, ensure high quality implementation of projects, and develop and apply innovations. They will support Jhpiego’s global positioning and reputation in immunization by representing the organization externally and will support the development of new strategic partnerships. Within their designated specialties, the Principal Technical Advisor will mentor, build capacity, identify learning, design technical approaches for new business opportunities and will lead the development and implementation of workplan priorities.
Sr. Portfolio Manager works in collaboration with the Sr. Director to lead programming within the southern Africa Portfolio.
The Sr. Portfolio Manager acts as the as a representative of the Portfolio area, is a key partner to management and leadership team(s), and it accountable for the identification and determination of overall priorities for the assigned program area. The Sr. Portfolio manager informs the build-out, development and implementation of solutions that address programmatic needs.
This position directs the activities of the Southern Africa Portfolio. The Sr. Portfolio Manager designs and develops portfolio level structures which integrate substantive capacities into seamless/coordinated service/program management in the assigned portfolio and identifies opportunities and challenges in the portfolio with breakthrough alternatives/solutions.
The Sr. Portfolio Manager also provides direct program backstopping support to countries and/or global projects

In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. Jhpiego is hiring Program Associate for USAID funded Family Planning and Reproductive Health for Young Population in India project. The project vision is to demonstrate innovative models to leapfrog young people’s reproductive health and family planning outcome. It will also promote adaptation of possible models from evidence-based high impact interventions demonstrated in previous programs. This project is also expected to catalyze lessons learned from USAID’s previous investments on FP/RH for youth.
The Program officer will work with the NCDC Surveillance Director and Jhpiego GHS project staff to provide coordination and oversight in the implementation of Global health security – Surveillance activity at national and subnational. Work in close collaboration with the NCDC PCU, Surveillance and other technical team and relevant stakeholders for effective achievement and implementation of Global health security activities in Nigeria, on the COVID19 response mechanism TA and other priorities. Work closely with all stakeholders to achieve key technical and programmatic results and contribute to resolving project-related issues and information delivery. The program officer will develop, maintain, strengthen and expand a quality collaborative approach and ensure effective program documentation.
SALARY RANGE (BASIC): 5,912,046 - 6,913,132.80
Database Web Developer – experts will provide expertise in data management for Surveillance, design and develop modules, software applications integrated into SORMAS, manage SORMAS database, performance monitoring of existing software, manage technical documentation with regular reporting and design/develop application programming interfaces (APIs).

The Gender Technical Advisor will be responsible for implementing MCGL’s project gender strategy as well as work with other staff of the project to ensure that Project provides comprehensive sex and age-appropriate clinical post-GBV care that meets expressed needs of survivors including GBV primary prevention, male engagement and respectful care activities where necessary across all target locations.
The Gender Technical Advisor will lead MCGL gender work at health facilities with linkages to community gender and GBV activities and work closely with other members of the Jhpiego gender team to implement Jhpiego-Nigeria’s gender inclusive strategy and in other gender/GBV related programs.
