The Child Health and Immunization Advisor will be responsible for the implementation of life-saving Child health activities in the supported provinces. S/he will work in collaboration with the PHO/DHO and health facility teams and other stakeholders to implement quality Child health through technical capacity enhancement and quality improvement initiatives. S/he will work collaboratively with health care providers to enhance their skills through on-the-job coaching and delivery of evidence-based high-impact interventions to enhance child survival.

Through funding from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Jhpiego is implementing two projects to improve the capacity to prevent, detect and respond to outbreaks. Under the Achieving Global Health Security through the Strengthening of Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Management Platforms in Liberia (US CDC/PHEM Project) to prevent and respond to emergencies. The MNCH Coordinator will be responsible for the technical coordination and oversight of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health interventions across the RISE Ethiopia project, ensuring integrated and high-quality service delivery.
