USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) award is a five-year USAID funded global award, that works in tandem with country governments and local nongovernmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance and contribute to the global technical leadership and policy dialogue on improving measurable outcomes for maternal, reproductive, newborn and child health, and voluntary family planning. MCGL seeks a Project Director to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded project in East Jerusalem, the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN). The project will be focused on building the capacity of EJHN hospitals through the provision of technical, financial, and management strengthening support. This support will enable hospitals within the network to diversify income streams and improve the service provision for patients from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.       The Project Director will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of project activities. The Project Director will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. The Project Director will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID/West Bank/Gaza on routine and strategic matters, as well as with Palestinian MOH, Israeli Ministry of Health and other local and international counterparts. S/he will be the point of contact for all purposes of this activity, unless delegations of authority are presented to and agreed by USAID/WBG.

He/She ensures procurement effectiveness, efficiency and integrity at all times.     The PSS will be responsible for managing the procurement support component of the project, including validation of needs with hospitals, procurement and logistics.

Jhpiego seeks a Chief of Party (COP) to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID Global Health Security (GHS) activity in Philippines. Jhpiego seeks a Youth, Gender, and Equity (YGE) Technical Advisor to support an anticipated five-year, multi-country, USAID-funded project to advance equitable, affordable, and sustainable access to family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) information, products, and services. The project will focus primarily on FP/RH outcomes at the system, facility, provider, community, and client levels and support countries to constructively and creatively address persistent issues related to health access, equity, and quality of care, particularly for youth. The YGE Technical Advisor will have the overall responsibility of leading the design and implementation of programs to advance USAID’s goal of local capacity strengthening and engagement of local partners and stakeholders in generating demand with youth and women for scale-up of evidence-informed and rights-based FP/RH service delivery. The position will oversee the technical work of Jhpiego staff and resource partners in target countries.     The YGE Technical Advisor will be based in one of Jhpiego’s country-based offices in sub-Saharan Africa, and international travel will be required. This position is contingent upon award and annual funding from USAID.
