Jhpiego seeks a Technical Director (TD) to provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and project management to ensure programmatic and technical integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention in Lesotho (SECURE) project in Lesotho. The project aims to close gaps to reach and sustain HIV epidemic control through unified approaches to prevention and strengthened community systems. The project will improve uptake of combination HIV prevention services, improve effective coverage of non-discriminatory, person-centered, integrated services, and bolster resilient community systems that sustain quality HIV prevention services. The project will operate over a 5-year period.
The Technical Director will work closely supervise with the program implementation team on biomedical HIV prevention and key populations-focused activities, including Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), to ensure that resources are applied appropriately (e.g. human, financial and material). Responsibilities include: supervising technical staff, overseeing annual work planning, leading the design, implementation, and reporting of project activities, and representing Jhpiego to donors and partners. The Technical Director will also be responsible for providing strategic guidance and assistance in comprehensive HIV prevention services for program staff and other stakeholders; representing the project in technical working groups; and overseeing the development of HIV quality improvement systems. The Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of a comprehensive HIV program. The Technical Director will provide technical leadership in development of annual work plans and budgets to ensure program design is line with program and Ministry of Health (MOH) strategies and international best practices. The Technical Director will also work closely with program and technical staff to ensure excellence in technical implementation at targeted sites and communities. In addition, the Technical Director will lead cross-cutting approaches, such as quality assurance and improvement, linkages and referrals among services, and conduct operations research, as well as supervise other technical specialists and report to the Country Director.

The Chief of Party will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID on routine and strategic matters. The Chief of Party will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with the government of Lesotho and key stakeholders at all levels.

Jhpiego is seeking highly motivated Program Officer based in New Delhi for its USAID‐funded RISE project to coordinate efforts in tackling the growing challenge of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in close collaboration and leadership of National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The Program Officer (AMR) will execute the activities as per agreed support for AMR activities on the potential areas mentioned in the work plan. Jhpiego is seeking a Country Director to support Global Program Operatations in Pakistan. Jhpiego’s portfolio in Pakistan is diverse, ranging from family planning, maternal health, immunization, humanitarian relief, gender and global health security.
As the country representative, the Country Director needs to be a thought leader and visible player in the health space in Pakistan. The position will require the forging of strategic partnerships and growth in existing and new priority areas. Provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity of Jhpiego’s programs in Pakistan. This includes guiding the strategic planning, design and implementation for country programs and achieving the planned results.
The Country Director will work closely with the MoH to streamline efforts and ensure complementarities of projects, serves as the primary point of contact for donors including USAID, GAVI, BMGF, Foundations, MoH stakeholders and partners and is responsible for managing relationships and collaboration with international and local partners. The Country Director will also ensure timely and cost-effective project implementation, reporting of activities, and project deliverables.
USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) award is a five-year USAID funded global award, that works in tandem with country governments and local nongovernmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance, and contribute to the global technical leadership and policy dialogue on improving measurable outcomes for maternal, reproductive, newborn and child health, and voluntary family planning. MCGL seeks a Chief of Party (COP) to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID family planning program in Jordan. The MCGL Jordan program will provide support to the USAID/Jordan bilateral Partnership for Health in Family Planning (PHFP) program to promotion and provision of quality family planning services to the population of Jordan.
The position will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and MCGL’s senior management team, and will oversee management of finance and administrative functions for the MCGL Joran Project. This includes implementing and maintaining financial, accounting, and administrative systems as required. Ensuring the integrity and effective performance of office’s financial and administrative operations. The F&A Manager works closely with Finance and Operations Director, Technical Director, programs teams, finance team, and others to ensure accurate operational, financial, contractual, and administrative reporting to the management team and to agencies external to the project.

The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management and reporting of all project activities in Jordan. The COP will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. They will be supported by the Senior Director, Programs and the leadership of MCGL’s Global Award to address issues requiring MCGL’s Agreement Officer’s Representative (AOR) core team involvement. They will serve as the project’s main point of contact with USAID and the Government on routine and strategic matters. The COP will ensure effective organizational management and communication with the Jordan country government and key stakeholders at all levels, including international entities.
Jhpiego seeks a Technical Director / Deputy Chief of Party to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, epidemiologic, programmatic and technical excellence for an upcoming global health security project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. The project, valued at up to $300 million, will support in-country counterparts in 50 focus countries to enhance the capacity of national and sub-national laboratory networks and surveillance systems; develop and strengthen data collection, analysis, and reporting relating to surveillance and detection systems; and provide targeted technical assistance during outbreaks for detection, surveillance, and data analysis and management.
The Technical Director / Deputy Chief of Party, as a chief epidemiologist/scientist, will have the overall responsibility of leading the technical design and providing high quality technical support to countries in alignment with the International Health Regulations to advance USAID’s goal of data driven prevention, timely detection and response to current and future outbreaks. This position will guide, oversee, and integrate innovations, new approaches and technical priorities in prevention, detection and response to accelerate country strategies in global health security. The position will oversee the technical work of Jhpiego staff and resource partners in target countries.

The Global Technical Director will provide vision, leadership and oversight for Jhpiego’s broad portfolio of work in pandemic preparedness, prediction, detection and response activities including the appropriate and comprehensive integration of those programs across primary health care, subnational, national and regional health systems.
The Director will guide the development and implementation of the Global Health Security (GHS) strategy and ensure the organization achieves strategic objectives. The Director will provide strategic and thought leadership for programming, represent Jhpiego globally and develop and maintain relationships that grow Jhpiego’s portfolio and strengthen its reputation as a global leader in GHS.
The Director will also oversee and ensure quality technical assistance to country programs, supervise and manage technical staff, and oversee progress towards unit workplans.

MCGL seeks a Finance and Administration Director to provide administrative and organizational leadership and direction to ensure the contractual, administrative and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded project in East Jerusalem, the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN). The project will be focused on building the capacity of EJHN hospitals through the provision of technical, financial, and management strengthening support. This support will enable hospitals within the network to diversify income streams and improve the service provision for patients from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. This position reports to the Project Director.
