The Surveillance, Monitoring and Evaluation Director will provide technical leadership, oversight and strategic direction for monitoring and evaluation (M&E), digital health, and knowledge management activities for an upcoming Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded Global Health Security Agenda project. The project aims to improve prevention of avoidable epidemics including naturally occurring outbreaks and intentional or accidental releases of dangerous pathogens; improve ability to rapidly detect threats early, including detecting, characterizing, and reporting emerging public health threats; and respond rapidly and effectively to public health threats of international concern. This includes strengthening the capacity of national laboratory systems, surveillance systems, human resources, and emergency response operations. The project will operate over an anticipated five-year period.
The Surveillance and M&E Director will support and coordinate surveillance system assessment and strengthening activities, surveys, and evaluation in close collaboration with local government partners and stakeholders. Additionally, the Director will oversee the collection, management, analysis, and use of project data, ensuring that lessons learned are disseminated among relevant stakeholders.
This position is contingent upon award from the CDC.
The Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Advisor will work on an upcoming USAID integrated health project in Burkina Faso. The project aims to reduce malaria morbidity and mortality, as well as strengthen access to and the quality of care for the most vulnerable populations – women and children – across multiple service entry points and across the continuum of care. This includes strengthening the capacity of health providers to deliver high quality management, diagnosis, and treatment.The project will operate over an anticipated five-year period.
The SBC Advisor will work with the project COP and DCOP to oversee social and behavioral change related programs, assisting the MoH and other partners to coordinate, design, implement, monitor and evaluate effective SBC at national and sub-national levels.

Working with the Project Manager, the Cervical Cancer Prevention (CECAP) Technical Advisor will direct the design, implementation, coordination, and monitoring and evaluation of the service delivery strategy for a new CECAP program in Guatemala in support of the Ministry of Health. This position is contingent on funding.
The Senior Demand Creation Advisor will lead Jhpiego’s demand creation strategies and operations, as well as related technical assistance for a PEPFAR/CDC-funded voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) for HIV prevention project in eSwatini. This project is financially supported by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is expected to last through September 2020. Eswatini nationals are highly encouraged to apply. This project is based in Mbabane, Eswatini.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) project in eSwatini, in close coordination with M&E Manager in Jhpiego SA. The position will assist develop an M&E system to capture high-quality, relevant and timely data for programmatic decision-making, improving the quality of interventions. The position will ensure alignment of the data collection with MOH Client Management Information System (CMIS) and regional priorities. M&E Officer will supervise and manage Data clerks and collaborate with Program Manager and technical colleagues to foster a culture of data use for decision-making, including leading monthly data review meetings and Routine Data Quality Assessment.
The Team Leader, Animal Healthwill provide expert guidance, leadership and support in the area of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) and antimicrobial-usage (AMU) surveillance in food animals. S/he will develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders including government officials and non-governmental stakeholders and will ensure that animal health project outputs are met as per timeline and within budget.The upcoming Fleming Fund in health project Country Grant in Bangladesh aims to address critical gaps in surveillance of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) bacteria in Bangladesh. The project will operate over a three-year period. This position reports to the Project Director.
