Working with the New Program Development (NPD), Program, Technical, External Communications, Finance and Human Resources teams worldwide, the Partnerships Director will focus on mobilizing corporate and foundation resources in support of Jhpiego’s mission.  This includes serving on the NPD leadership group, working directly with the President and CEO, Leadership Team and Country Directors and formulating and executing related organizational strategy to fund Jhpiego’s most exciting, forward thinking technical and programmatic priorities.  Director serves as Jhpiego’s in-house ‘expert’ for corporate and foundation fundraising, and stewards the development of partnerships across Jhpiego geographies and technical areas. Director will also integrate/leverage corporate and foundation funding with other funding streams, such as the US Government, bilateral, multi-lateral and innovative finance mechanisms. This position will assist Jhpiego to successfully implement its Strategic Plan by leading efforts to build internal capacity to position, cultivate and effectively solicit corporate and foundation sponsors to save lives, improve health and transform futures around the globe.   We seek a creative, pro-active and passionate professional with a growth mindset who thrives on playing a key role turning ideas into action, working with and through technical and multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate will excel at putting structure around ambiguous opportunities, facilitating ways forward to secure strategic funding, and converting prospects into leads which translate into winning proposals.  Ideal candidate will be skilled at building capacity across the organization in assessing and developing strategic US and international corporate and foundation relationships and prospects that lead to grant/contract awards.  Ideal candidate will also possess superlative external relations, communications, internal coaching and facilitation skills in addition to core competencies in developing and refining theories of change, drafting compelling proposal content and sharpening draft narrative.   All candidates should include a cover letter and resume with their application.

Technical Advisor, Immunization needed to provide technical and partnership management-based support to global projects and to Jhpiego’s 30+ country offices across Africa and Asia. Globally, Advisor provides intensive support to the immunization elements of Momentum Private Healthcare Delivery project (MPHD) in which JHPIEGO plays a key role. MPHD is a $75 million, 5-year USAID funded project that will support private providers and expand public and private partnerships to strengthen maternal, reproductive, newborn, and child health care and voluntary family planning. Population Services International is the prime, and partners include Jhpiego, FHI360, ThinkWell and Avenir Health.   Beyond MPHD, the Advisor will support other aspects of Jhpiego’s immunization work across life course vaccination (including against human papilloma virus and COVID-19), integration of newborn, child and adolescent services with immunization, vaccination in complex humanitarian emergencies, and innovations in immunization service delivery. The Advisor will sit within Jhpiego’s Global Solutions and Innovations (GSI) section in Jhpiego’s Baltimore office, working under senior technical advisors in GSI, and reporting directly to the Senior Technical Advisor (Immunization).

Jhpiego is seeking a Technical Director to provide technical guidance, management leadership, and support for the COVID-19 response in Lesotho. Under the RISE project, Jhpiego will be implementing interventions to support the Government of Lesotho to prevent, detect and respond to COVID-19. A significant focus of our work is accelerating and strengthening the technical and operational capacity of local healthcare workers to deliver high quality COVOD-19 vaccination services, prevent the nosocomial spread of SARS-CoV-2, provide quality case management and allow for the safe maintenance of routine essential services, including the provision of clinical technical assistance around the triage of patients and appropriate use of intensive care resources, safe and effective use of medical equipment, and supporting the mental health and resiliency of healthcare workers.   The Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring technical and operational rigor in the planning and scaled execution of COVID-19 response projects being implemented at the national, regional, and facility level. This includes assisting the clinical response to COVID-19 in treatment centers and improving coordination and communication amongst frontline health workers impacted and engaged in hot zone areas. Additionally, liaising with MOH staff, other partners and donors regarding technical strategy, monitoring and evaluation of project milestones and targets. Sr. Financial Analyst is part of the Global Program Finance Team working closely with Programs, Contracts, and Jhpiego’s Country offices to ensure accurate accounting and financial information is collected and analyzed to be used as data for decision making.  The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial support to the HQ and Field finance teams in accumulating, tracking and reporting of costs posted in country QBE files.  Sr. Financial Analyst ensures financial systems and reports are compatible with standard Jhpiego accounting practices and follow donor rules and regulations.

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial systems implementation, budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting and accounting for a USAID/PEPFAR funded contract and other projects managed by the Jhpiego Lesotho Office. The Finance Director supervises the Finance Managers and reports to the Country Director. The Finance Director is also required to serve as key personnel.
