In collaboration with the Project Director, the Sr. Capacity Strengthening and Partnership Officer will develop the overall capacity strengthening strategy and oversee the design, initiation, implementation, and monitoring of capacity strengthening and sustainability initiatives related to the project. They will support the Jhpiego Organization Capacity Assessment and Action Plan(JOCAA) assessments and resulting capacity-strengthening activities at the national, district, and project levels to increase the capacity of partners to effectively manage, coordinate, implement, and monitor integrated HIV programs. The Sr. Capacity Strengthening and Partnerships Officer will facilitatepartner organizations in designing tailor-madecapacity development action plans that detail their key technical and/or organizational management capacity gaps; capacity strengthening priorities; and corresponding activities. They organize, coordinate, and support training events and workshops; design and supervise mentorship frameworks; link organizational partners with resources, tools, and subject-matter experts that support their capacity-strengthening priorities, provide supportive supervision and coaching support to organizational partners throughout the JOCAA process, and monitor and evaluate partners' progress against themutually agreed criteria within the key JOCAA topics. This Officer will plan and execute events, and support training (i.e., resource mobilization), as well as the development of joint implementation plans and other partnership agreements in coordination with the COP and partners.

Jhpiego seeks a Senior HIV Technical Advisor for the newly award USAID-funded Comprehensive Community Prevention and Continuum of Care Program– Component C in Botswana. As the technical assistance provider, Jhpiego will strengthen civil society organizations (CSOs) to be able to deliver quality HIV and social services.  Jhpiego will also partner with the Government of Botswana (GOB), particularly ministries at the national level and district government offices to prioritize and strengthen their capacity for leadership, coordination of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and gender-based violence (GBV) response strategies, and monitoring.The initial period of performance is two years with the possibility of three-one year renewal periods.    The Senior HIV Technical Advisor will strengthen the technical capacity to provide high-quality integrated HIV services across the continuum of care in communities. They will achieve this by strengthening the technical skills of CSOs responsible for direct service delivery under Components A & B of the Project and providing technical support to deliver integrated quality orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and DREAMS services and interventions. Technical assistance in OVC care will encompass the full range of service domains, with experience soliciting OVC participation in defining those needs. The Senior Technical Advisor will also be accountable for strengthening primary health care (PHC) at the community level by standardizing and building the capacity of all 16 district health management teams (DHMT) to train and improve the technical skills of community health care workers (CHCW) and PHC providers in integrated community-based health services.   This person will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the project’s technical capacity-building strategy, bringing evidence-based, proven interventions into practice. They will serve as the key technical liaison with Government of Botswana (GOB) and Ministry counterparts, CSOs implementing direct service delivery under Components A & B, and service providers to ensure capacity-building activities are co-developed, coordinated, and executed with quality. This person will also supervise and mentor both clinical and non-clinical technical staff contributing technical expertise in PHC, OVC, DREAMs, and Gender/GBV.  This is a Key Personnel position.  Employmentis contingent upon USAID approval.

The Finance and Operations Manager will play a key role in directing project operations, including working with local implementing partners (IP) and CSOs to build their capacity and provide guidance on all areas of Finance and Operations, including sub-award management. They will also support the assessment and be accountable for co-developing and executing effective capacity-building strategies for local partners in finance and operations. They will be responsible for supervising the Senior Finance/HR Officer and Driver positions.

The Sr. Technical Advisor will provide technical expertise in Immunization to ensure delivery of high-quality technical approaches to support Jhpiego’s global and country immunization portfolio. This may include new vaccine introductions, life-course vaccines in infancy, adolescence and adulthood, innovations in campaign and routine approaches to immunization service delivery, and community engagement to promote vaccine uptake. Technical themes will emphasize life-course vaccines from the new-born period onwards, including adolescence, pregnancy and adulthood; integration with other primary health care, and prevention of specific infections such as human papillomavirus (HPV), measles, rubella, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19, hepatitis B, malaria and tuberculosis.   The Sr. Technical Advisor will lead or support specific areas within this portfolio, as designated by the Technical Director, Immunization. They will work with Jhpiego’s global and country project teams, to institutionalize good practice, ensure high quality implementation of projects, and develop and apply innovations. They will support Jhpiego’s global positioning and reputation in immunization by representing the organization externally and will support the development of new strategic partnerships. Jhpiego seeks a Deputy Chief of Party to provide technical leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, technically sound programming, and overall integrity for an upcoming USAID-funded Global Health Security Activity: USAID Usalama wa Afya Duniani Activity. The $30,000,000 million project aims to support the Government of Tanzania to strengthen and capacitate the existing health system to prevent, detect and respond to emerging infectious diseases (EID). The project aims to build and strengthening measurable, sustainable capacity while helping to develop and adopt evidence-based and innovative solutions to prevent, rapidly detect, effectively respond to, and ultimately recover from EID – whether naturally occurring, accidental, or deliberate.   The Deputy Chief of Party will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and be part of the project’s senior management team.
