Jhpiego, through the HPV Vaccination Acceleration Program Partners Initiative (HAPPI) Project, aims to increase and sustain equity, program quality, and accelerate coverage of HPV vaccine to support the goal of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) to immunize 86M girls and adolescents by 2025. This endeavor contributes to the WHO Global Strategy for the Acceleration of Elimination of Cervical Cancer as Public Health Problem through primary prevention.   In the Philippines, Jhpiego works with the Department of Health (DOH) to advance country commitments to the global elimination strategy through: (1) building evidence to support strengthened implementation of HPV vaccination, improved vaccine service delivery and coverage; and, (2) targeted operational support to the DOH’s National Immunization Program   Jhpiego seeks qualified individual to provide technical writing services in the preparation and production of “Cervical Cancer Elimination Resource Manual for Parents.”

Reporting to The Finance Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is accountable for the accurate and timely processing of Jhpiego Payroll actions in accordance with established Johns Hopkins University policies and procedures. The incumbent will work closely with the Finance & Accounting Team.

Jhpiego works with the Department of Health (DOH) to increase access to optimal cervical cancer early detection technologies through the introduction HPV self-sampling as screening method and thermal ablation for treatment of pre-cancer lesions. This endeavor responds to the World Health Organization’s global strategy to eliminate cervical cancer by 2030 and supports the DOH and country commitments to achieve 70 per cent screening coverage and 90 per cent access to treatment by the year 2030.   Building on footprint of the SUCCESS Project, the Centralized Laboratory Model for HPV DNA Screening (CLAMS) Project aims to support demand generation and awareness activities for cervical cancer preventive services in Metro Manila through direct support for the conduct of health education and promotion activities. This includes reproduction and cascade of information, education and communication (IEC) materials to support delivery of preventive services at the community level.   Jhpiego seeks the services of an individual who can develop a 3 – 5 minutes animated video of instructions for self-collection to support health care providers in effectively instructing patients on the 10 steps for self-collection and increase uptake for HPV self-collection.

Jhpiego is seeking services of qualified vaccinator for the “Flood Emergency Response Project” to be implemented in 04 districts of Sindh.  The project aims to provide healthcare (curative and primary healthcare) services to the population residing in flood affected areas through mobile camps and static centers by adopting integrated approach with other programmes.

Jhpiego seeks Quality Improvement Specialists toprovideoverarching quality improvement supportfor an upcoming USAID program in East Jerusalem, the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN).  EJHN comprises six non-profit, charitable hospitals that have a long history of providing services to patients from East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza hospitals in East Jerusalem.The EJHN program will support hospitals within the network to diversify income streams and improve quality of services for patients from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. This position reports to the Project Director.

USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) award is a five-year USAID funded global award, that works in tandem with country governments and local nongovernmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance, and contribute to the global technical leadership and policy dialogue on improving measurable outcomes for maternal, reproductive, newborn and child health, and voluntary family planning. He/She ensures procurement effectiveness, efficiency and integrity at all times.     The PSS will be responsible for managing the procurement support component of the project, including validation of needs with hospitals, procurement and logistics.
