The project will focus on ensuring India’s health system is prepared to prevent and respond to future challenges it faces such as climate change, emerging infectious disease outbreaks, and epidemiologic transition through comprehensive integrated primary healthcare, strengthening the continuum of care offered from the primary to secondary and tertiary facilities, expanded disease surveillance, maximizing the efficiency of public health financing, and increasing private sector engagement to improve health outcomes while reducing out of pocket expenditures. It will operate over a five-year period.

The Chief of Party (COP) will provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming USAID project in India. The project will focus on ensuring India’s health system is prepared to prevent and respond to future challenges it faces such as climate change, emerging infectious disease outbreaks, and epidemiologic transition through comprehensive integrated primary healthcare, strengthening the continuum of care offered from the primary to secondary and tertiary facilities, expanded disease surveillance, maximizing the efficiency of public health financing, and increasing private sector engagement to improve health outcomes while reducing out of pocket expenditures. It will operate over a five-year period.
The COP will have the overall responsibility for leadership and management of and reporting on the project activities, making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and program quality and integrity and serving as the first point of interface with USAID on routine and strategic matters.

The Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Director will provide technical leadership, oversight and strategic direction for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for an upcoming USAID-funded health project in India. The project will focus on ensuring India’s health system is prepared to prevent and respond to future challenges it faces such as climate change, emerging infectious disease outbreaks, and epidemiologic transition through comprehensive integrated primary healthcare, strengthening the continuum of care offered from the primary to secondary and tertiary facilities, expanded disease surveillance, maximizing the efficiency of public health financing, and increasing private sector engagement to improve health outcomes while reducing out of pocket expenditures. It will operate over a five-year period.
The MEL Director will supervise and manage the project’s M&E team and oversee the collection, management, analysis, and use of project data, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementations to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes. They are responsible for documenting and disseminating project successes, challenges and lessons learned to USAID. The MEL Director will also be responsible for designing and conducting assessments, and evaluations to address project needs. They will liaise with and support consortium partners and the Ministry of Health to implement monitoring and evaluation activities, and s/he will work within the broader Jhpiego India MEL team to ensure compliance with internal standards and practices.

Jhpiego seeks a Regional Manager to provide support to project Leadership to ensure strong Strategic and program operations of the USAID Systems to End Malaria Burden Through Meaningful Engagement -II (SEMBE II) Project in Cameroon. The program will 1) strengthen malaria prevention and case management activities at health facilities and community level, 2) build management capacity of the district and regional level to provide oversight/supervision of malaria interventions, 3) improve data reporting, analysis, and use for decision-making by strengthening the HMIS. The program will operate over a five-year period in North region of Cameroon.
The Regional Manager will work closely with the CoP, the Technical Director, the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Senior Advisor as well the Finance and Administration Director on the oversight of day-to-day implementation, reporting and monitoring of the Project, The Regional Manager will play a “liaison” role in ensuring that the project is implemented in accordance with the award terms and Jhpiego’ s project management professional standards of practices and will lead the project office in Garoua.

Jhpiego is recruiting a Malaria in Pregnancy (MIP) and Case Management (CM) Specialist to provide technical and program oversight and direction in the areas of malaria in pregnancy and case management for the USAID Cameroon funded project entitled Systems to End the Malaria Burden Through Meaningful Engagement—II (SEMBE II)).
The program will 1) strengthen malaria prevention and case management activities at health facilities and community level, 2) build management capacity of the district and regional level to provide oversight/supervision of malaria interventions, 3) improve data reporting, analysis, and use for decision-making by strengthening the HMIS. The program will operate over a five-year period in North region of Cameroon.
Responsibilities include providing leadership and technical guidance in the development and implementation of MIP and CM activities at district facilities, promoting the uptake of intermittent prevention of malaria in pregnancy (IPTp), participating in district MIP technical advisory groups, and improving databases that monitor MIP achievements. This position will ensure the technical and methodological soundness of activities and, in collaboration with the project team and partners, support the design of service delivery strategies, based on sound and current scientific evidence (Participating at National Malaria Case Management and National iCCM/IMCI Technical Working Groups)

Jhpiego seeks an Sr Advisor – Monitoring, Evaluation Research & Learning (MERL) based in New Delhi, to provide technical oversight and strategic direction primarily for Research and Learning Activities with additional responsibilities of monitoring & evaluation, activities, frameworks, plans and indicators to capture project performance results and provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all programs in close partnership and oversight of Program leads focused on Maternal and Child Health domain. This position reports to the Country Lead – Learning for Action and Data Science.
Under funding from Gavi, the vaccine alliance, Jhpiego is implementing the “Demand, Communities, and Gender: Engaging men as caregivers and supporting successful parenting towards improved immunization outcomes and equitable health services” (“Men’s engagement in immunization”) project in collaboration with ministries of health and other stakeholders in Pakistan.
The project goal is to contribute towards Gavi gender strategy for “increasing understanding of programmatic interventions that overcome gender-related barriers, specifically engaging male caregivers and supporting successful parenting towards improved immunization outcomes and more equitable health services.” Jhpiego seeks to hire a Data Management Officer, based in Islamabad.
This operations research project will include qualitative and quantitative baseline and endline data collection activities, as well as a period of project implementation with regular monitoring activities. The project will be implemented within the two districts of the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan. Online data will be collected through community mobilizer on an online real time data collection application. The data will be stored centrally and will be managed by a skilled and experienced Data Management Officer. The Data Management Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire data lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of the collected information. The candidate’s responsibilities will include designing and maintaining the database. implementing data security measures, and developing protocols for efficient data entry and retrieval. Additionally, the Data Management Officer will collaborate with the community mobilizers to troubleshoot any data collection issues and provide necessary training on the data collection application. Regularly generating comprehensive reports, the Data Management Officer will analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and present findings to key stakeholders.
The Scale-Up Cervical Cancer Elimination with Secondary Prevention Strategy (SUCCESS) project aims to conduct 3527 HPV screening follow up from general women population and women living with HIV (WLHIV) between May 2024 and March 2025. SUCCESS promotes self-collected samples, uses HPV Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) testing in determining women positive with HPV, and treat those found positive with assessed and referred for treatment of precancerous lesions with Thermal Ablation.
Implementation research will be conducted in three (3) SUCCESS project sites to generate robust evidence on the feasibility, appropriateness, acceptability, and/or cost of introducing HPV testing and thermal ablation for both the general population and WLHIV in the Philippines.
Jhpiego seeks three (03) Training, Supervision and Quality (TSQ) Specialists to provide technical and programmatic support in the area of quality assurance as part of the USAID-funded Systems to End the Malaria Burden through Meaningful Engagement II (SEMBE II) project. The five-year SEMBE II project has an overarching goal to reduce malaria-related morbidity and mortality by improving the capacity of the National Malaria Control Program and other local entities to lead the prevention, control, and elimination of malaria and move Cameroon towards pre-elimination by expanding and improving the quality of malaria case management and prevention at the facility and community level through training, formative supervision, health systems strengthening and coordination of activities at the central, regional and district levels.
The TSQ Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support in the development and implementation of capacity building activities as implemented by the project technical and programmatic staff. This will include the coordination of case management (CM) and malaria in pregnancy (MIP) stakeholders to ensure compliance with national CM and MIP policies and guidelines, and the development and implementation of action plans for capacity building of local National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) offices and providers. The TSQ Specialist will ensure the technical and methodological soundness of activities and, in collaboration with the project team and partners, support the design of service delivery strategies and quality assurance systems and procedures, based on sound and current scientific evidence.
