Jhpiego seeks a Principal Investigator/Project Director (PI/PD) to provide vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) project funded through the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The five-year project aims to ensure continuity of comprehensive HIV/AIDS services to an existing pool of clients receiving HIV/AIDS care, support, and/or treatment. The program will also continue expanding access to HIV/AIDS services while building the capacity of national structures and contributing to sustainable service delivery within the health sector in Côte d’Ivoire. Specifically, it serves to increase capacity and sustainability of the response toward controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Côte d’Ivoire by initially providing support for HIV service delivery aligning with PEPFAR geographic and programmatic pivots and ultimately providing technical assistance to indigenous Ivorian organizations and the national Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene (MSHP) to sustain and expand comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and antiretroviral therapy (ART) programs.     The PI/PD will have overall responsibility for leadership and management of the project and reporting of project activities. S/he will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and project technical quality and integrity. S/he will serve as the project’s main point of contact with the donor, government of Cote d’Ivoire, and relevant stakeholders on routine and strategic matters. S/he will also ensure effective organizational management, collaboration and communication with the government at all levels, international partners, and agencies.      This position is contingent upon award from PEPFAR. Ivorian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Part-Time Email Marketing Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Web Specialist to advance a strong email marketing program for Jhpiego by stewarding communications, programmatic and development email marketing campaigns, growing our audiences and subscriber lists, and maintaining our email databases. This includes working closely with the Global Engagement and Communications team to ensure our email products are compelling, modern and well-received.  Coordinator will also help track and measure performance, and proactively make expert recommendations and strategic changes based on performance to improve reception, and to drive traffic and achieve various marketing goals.

Sr. Program Coordinator will will support Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania country programs and work in close collaboration with the Program Officer, Finance Manager, and representatives from different Jhpiego departments (e.g., Contracts Management Compliance Division [CMCD], Travel, Procurement, Global External Communications Office [GECO]) to support country teams and global projects to successfully implement projects. This includes ensuring that administrative tasks are completed including US-based procurement, processing contracts, setting up payments from US, setting up meetings, taking notes, reviewing/editing reports, minor translation needs for certain countries, etc.

The Senior Finance and Administrative Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial systems implementation, budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting and accounting, for a CDC-funded community HIV prevention, testing and treatment initiation project in Lesotho. The Senior Finance and Administrative Manager works closely with key program staff to ensure accurate financial, contractual and administrative reporting of the project. The Senior Finance and Administrative Manager will ensure that financial reports are compatible with standard accounting practices and follow Jhpiego and US government (including PEPFAR) rules and regulations. The position is also responsible for ensuring cost consciousness, efficient spending and for implementing and maintaining an on-site financial accounting and bookkeeping system required to assure the integrity and effective performance of the project’s financial operations. The Senior Finance and Administrative Manager oversees day-to-day coordination of financial and administrative activities for the HIV program, and manages all sub-grants, ensuring compliance and reporting of sub-awardees.    The project will operate over a five-year period. The Finance Manager II is part of the Global Programs Finance Team working closely with Program Staff, Contracts, Global Human Resources, Jhpiego’s HIV and Infectious Diseases team, and Jhpiego’s Country offices to ensure accurate financial, contractual and administrative reporting to the management team and to agencies external to Jhpiego.  The Finance Manager II will provide financial leadership and oversight of the financial and contractual aspects of several multi-country global programs, with a primary focus on supporting management of PEPFAR and COVID-19 response funded global programs. Support is currently envisioned for multiple USAID funded global projects, such as the Jhpiego led Reaching Impact, Saturation, and Epidemic Control (RISE) Project (with PEPFAR and COVID programming) as well as two other global USAID funded projects where Jhpiego implements as a subpartner (ACHIEVE and MOSAIC). This includes proposal / new-country buy in support, start-up, implementation and control, subpartner management, monitoring and evaluation, close-out and cross-cutting Global Program Operations functions.  The Finance Manager II ensures financial systems and reports are compatible with standard Jhpiego accounting practices and follow donor rules and regulations. The Finance Manager II also provides capacity building, coaching and mentoring of junior finance staff and local partners by developing learning activities and materials to support capacity building.

New Program Development (NPD) Program Advisor and Capture Manager plays a critical role in all aspects of the NPD lifecycle to generate major funding in pursuit of Jhpiego’s mission.  We seek a creative, pro-active and passionate professional with a growth mindset who thrives on playing a key role turning ideas into action, working with and through technical and multi-disciplinary teams.   This position serves as lead or contributing writer on specific proposal opportunities and plays a facilitation role in project design.  NPD Program Advisor and Capture Manager will also enable Jhpiego to develop, implement and continually improve processes which improve the efficiency and effectiveness of proposal preparation.  This includes building Jhpiego’s capacity to assess consistent factors that contribute to our competitiveness and consistently realize strong positive feedback from donors which result in new awards. The NPD Program Advisor and Capture Manager will also serve as a capture manager on designated proposals.  Together with NPD colleagues, technical and program staff in overseas field and home office, the successful candidate will take ultimate responsibility for the overall proposal effort, engaging as appropriate with proposal teams in early stage identification, qualification, positioning and partnering for new program opportunities, especially more complex, highly competitive bids.  Capture responsibilities encompass overall new program strategy, formation of consortia, relationship management, internal team coaching and collective team leadership.  Further, the position will serve as a NPD liaison to a specific technical director/team within the Technical Leadership and Innovations department.  As such, the successful candidate will support strategic positioning, identification and pursuit of opportunities to grow Jhpiego’s work in a specific technical area.   Position can be based in Washington, DC or Baltimore.
