Finance Manager I is part of the Global Programs Finance Team working closely with Program Staff, Contracts, Global Human Resources, and Jhpiego’s Country offices under Portfolio II,  to ensure accurate financial, contractual and administrative reporting to the management team and to agencies external to Jhpiego. The Finance Manager I will provide financial leadership and oversight of the financial and contractual aspects of multiple country programs in Portfolio II countries, with a primary focus on Jhpiego Nigeria Programs funded by multiple funding sources mainly PEPFAR/USAID, CDC, Gates, Unitaid as well as other World Bank funded programs. This includes leads and proposals, start-up, implementation and control, monitoring and evaluation, close-out and cross-cutting GPO functions.   Finance Manager I ensure financial systems and reports are compatible with standard Jhpiego accounting practices and follow donor rules and regulations

Jhpiego has partnered with the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) to staff and train their COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine workforce.  Focusing on vaccine equity, Jhpiego and the BCHD are committed to focused, culturally responsive outreach to ensure access to and acceptance of COVID-19 vaccine by all Baltimoreans through strategic implementation of mobile vaccine clinics.  The COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine program engages Baltimore City community members, ambassadors, and leaders to bring culturally responsive COVID-19 vaccine to priority populations through mobile clinics while also working to address vaccine acceptance and uptake among these groups throughout Baltimore.   The Baltimore City COVID-19 VALUE Communities Program Coordinator will provide coordination and management support to one of at least nine VALUE (Vaccine Access and Acceptance Lives in Unity, Education, and Engagement) Community Workgroup Leads for the successful delivery of mobile vaccine clinics that aim to reach specific populations within Baltimore. The VALUE Communities Team aims to ensure equitable COVID-19 vaccine distribution across Baltimore, increasing access to and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine to support the goal of 80% of Baltimoreans vaccinated by February 2022. The Program Coordinator will support the VALUE Communities Workgroup Lead to successfully implement the VALUE Communities workgroup strategy, ensuring meaningful engagement of VALUE Communities through community listening sessions and integration of feedback into plans for the delivery of mobile vaccination clinics. The position will provide operational support, organization, and overall coordination of workgroup activities. Under the supervision of Jhpiego and the Baltimore City Health Department, the Program Coordinator will support the Workgroup Lead to provide operational support, organization, and coordination of workgroup activities, including budget management and overall administration. This position is expected to establish and maintain excellent relationships with counterparts, community members, and other stakeholders in the COVID-19 response in Baltimore City.    This is a temporary position funded through February 2022.  This position is primarily remote, although there may be infrequent need to visit or work from the mobile sites.

Chief of Party needed to support the USAID funded Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) in Côte d'Ivoire. Chief of Party will also ensure that MCGL provides the highest quality, state-of-the-art support to achieve the project objectives of reducing maternal and newborn deaths and increasing access to a range of high-quality family planning services. To realize these goals, Chief of Party will provide leadership and guidance to a range of project staff and create an effective and efficient management structure for all staff as well as local and international partners.

Jhpiego seeks a Chief of Party /Country Director (COP/CD) in Liberia. The CD/COP provides vision, leadership and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity of Jhpiego’s programs in Liberia. This includes guiding the strategic planning, design and implementation for country programs and achieving the planned results.  The CD/COP also ensures timely and cost-effective project implementation, reporting of activities, and project deliverables for the USAID contract- Strategic Technical Assistance for Improved Health System Performance and Health Outcomes activity. The COP will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, will ensure the project is progressing appropriately, and will serve as the principal liaison to USAID. S/he will play a key role in ensuring the award meets its objectives on time and on budget. This will be accomplished through use of adaptive management across the organization, at all levels. The COP will be an effective manager and will lead his/her team through changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. A high degree of demonstrated technical expertise combined with excellent communication and management skills are essential for this position.   The COP/CD works closely with MOH to streamline efforts and ensure complementarities of projects, serves as the primary point of contact for donors, stakeholders and partners and is responsible for managing relationships and collaboration with international and local partners. COP/CD also ensures timely and cost-effective project implementation, reporting of activities, and project deliverables.

The MNH Advisor will engage with cross cutting teams and program elements including family planning, quality improvement, innovations, health systems strengthening, community, and gender, and adolescent and youth health. Jhpiego seeks a Senior Program Officer (SPO) to work under the guidance of the Project Director to provide overall project management for the AlignMNH initiative.  AlignMNH is guided by an International Steering Committee of 20 global thought leaders, with Jhpiego serving as Secretariat.  The initiative seeks to align global maternal and newborn health (MNH) advocacy, metrics, financing and action in support of accelerated improvements in MNH and well-being in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Inclusive of a bi-annual conference series and an online Knowledge Hub, AlignMNH will enable the MNH community to effectively and efficiently share new evidence, identify opportunities and gaps, track progress, cultivate supportive networks, and galvanize energy in the MNH community.    The Senior Program Officer will be responsible for implementing and ensuring strong project management systems and tools are used to facilitate cohesion across AlignMNH workstreams and to ensure that all activities, budgets and all required reports are completed on time and with high quality.  The SPO will implement systems to ensure the project stays on scope, schedule and budget and will proactively identify risks and troubleshoot issues.

Measurement and Learning Advisor II needed to support actionable measurement and iterative learning as part of Jhpiego’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning team. This includes providing a comprehensive suite of technical support to field offices and projects in collaboration with technical advisors to support an enabling environment for data informed adaptive management and iterative learning across Jhpiego’s portfolio of global health programming in Africa, Asia and Latin America in technical areas including MNH, family planning and reproductive health, HIV, COVID, malaria, tuberculosis, infectious diseases, and global health security. The Advisor will also work closely with project teams to identify and co-develop support to ensure the right data are available and of sufficient quality, the data are actionable, and that the team has the knowledge and skills to analyze and use data for performance improvement and learning.
