Temporary - Dashboard Enhancement Advisor

The AFGHS MNCH&N Dashboard is an existing platform that synchronizes data from Zambia's DHIS2 system to monitor project milestones and performance indicators. As project requirements evolve, Jhpiego seeks to engage a Temporary Dashboard Enhancement Advisor to enhance the platform, strengthen automation and analytics, support migration to Jhpiego infrastructure and build internal capacity for long-term sustainability.

• Enhance the AFGHS MNCH&N Dashboard to monitor project milestones, targets, and key performance indicators.
• Develop executive TV Wall dashboards with real-time performance monitoring and Red-Amber-Green (RAG) scoring.
• Integrate High-, Moderate-, and Low-Touch district classifications and monitor performance by implementation tier.
• Strengthen data quality surveillance through automated monitoring of reporting completeness, timeliness, outliers, anomalies, and month-to-month changes.
• Develop automated alerts and exception reports to enable rapid identification and follow-up of performance gaps, data quality issues, and districts requiring corrective action.
• Develop and integrate Service Quality Assessment (SQA), GIS Mapping, Activity Tracking, MOH MCH&N Scorecard, Performance Assessment, and MPDSR Intelligence dashboards.
• Develop Python-based applications and automation workflows for data integration, analytics, reporting, dashboard management, and alert generation.
• Develop an MPDSR Intelligence, Cause-of-Death Analytics, and Action Tracker Dashboard.
• Migrate the dashboard and associated assets to Jhpiego-designated servers in collaboration with the Jhpiego IT Team.
• Develop technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer and hands-on training to 3–5 designated Jhpiego MERL and IT staff.

• Data Quality Surveillance and Alert System.
• Integrated SQA, GIS, MOH Scorecard, Performance Assessment, and MPDSR Dashboards.
• Python-Based Analytics and Automation Engine.
• Dashboard Migration and Handover Package.
• Technical Documentation and Training of 3–5 Jhpiego Staff.

Expected Outcome

An enhanced, DHIS2-connected, GIS-enabled Performance Intelligence Platform hosted on Jhpiego infrastructure that provides real-time visibility of project performance, strengthens transparency and accountability, and enables PMEL, technical teams, and management to take timely corrective action to keep implementation on track and maintain continuous focus on achievement of project milestones.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the existing AFGHS MCH Dashboard architecture, DHIS2 integrations, reporting processes, and business intelligence requirements.
• Proficiency in Python, Power BI, SQL, dashboard automation, and GIS visualization.
• Experience in health information systems, analytics, system integration, and data quality monitoring.
