The Hub HRH Coordinator provides overall technical, operational, and managerial leadership for Jhpiego's Area Implementation Team (AIT) within an assigned geographic Hub. The Coordinator translates national Human Resources for Health (HRH) strategies into high-quality implementation across Regional Health Bureaus (RHBs), Zonal Health Departments (ZHDs), Woreda Health Offices (WoHOs), Primary Health Care Units (PHCUs), hospitals, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), professional associations, and other local stakeholders.

Working closely with national technical leadership, the Coordinator provides integrated technical and operational leadership to ensure evidence-based interventions related to competency-based education, educational quality improvement, accreditation, continuing professional development (CPD), competency assessment, professional regulation, leadership development, workforce management, digital HRH, organizational strengthening, monitoring, learning, and adaptive management are implemented efficiently, consistently, and with high technical quality.
The Coordinator serves as Jhpiego's principal technical, operational, and partnership representative within the assigned Hub, fostering strong government ownership, coordinating professional association sub-partners, strengthening institutional capacity, ensuring implementation quality, promoting adaptive management, and supporting sustainable HRH systems strengthening across the primary health care system in alignment with Ethiopia's national priorities and the America First Global Health Strategy.
