Overview:
Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Specialist to support compliance, risk management, accountability, and governance efforts for the Government-to-Government (G2G) Health Systems Strengthening Project in Liberia.
The Compliance Specialist will ensure that project activities comply with donor requirements, Government of Liberia regulations, Jhpiego policies and procedures, and applicable legal and ethical standards. Working closely with the Ministry of Health Technical Management Unit (TMU), project teams, and implementing partners, the Specialist will monitor compliance across programmatic, financial, procurement, and operational activities; identify risks; recommend corrective actions; and strengthen internal control systems.
The Specialist will support compliance reviews, audits, policy implementation, reporting, and capacity-building efforts that promote transparency, accountability, regulatory compliance, and sound governance. This position reports to the Country Program Manager.
This position is contingent upon donor award and is for Liberian nationals only.
