About the Program
The IWiN (90096924) Program aims to strengthen access to better management of women diseases. This includes increasing access to quality screening services, strengthening health system capacity, enhancing community awareness, improving referral and treatment pathways, and supporting evidence-based implementation of innovative women cancer prevention interventions. Under this intervention Jhpiego is facilitating a self-care model for breast health. The project asupports the pilot implementation of Community-Based Self-Breast Examination (SBE) Promotion to improve early detection of breast cancer and its digital recording to demonstrate the effectiveness of this model.
About the Position
The Program officer will provide technical and programmatic support for the implementation of women cancer initiatives in Sikkim under the IWiN Program. The position is responsible for coordinating implementation in identified greographies, strengthening the capacity of healthcare providers, supporting community mobilization, ensuring quality screening and referral services, monitoring program performance, and engaging with key stakeholders. The Program officer will work closely with the State Health Department, district health teams, healthcare facilities, and project partners to ensure timely achievement of project objectives. The PO will report to the State Program Officer.
