The Reaching Impact, Saturation and Epidemic Control (RISE) project is funded by the Department of State to support malaria prevention, diagnosis, treatment, surveillance, and monitoring and evaluation activities across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. Implemented in close collaboration with the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP), the Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Programme (ZAMEP), and Prime Minister’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) structures, the project strengthens alignment with national malaria strategies, improves service delivery quality, and enhances health system performance and resilience.
The current implementation period (December 2025 to September 2026) requires coordinated, time-bound, multi-region implementation of malaria interventions, with a strong focus on ITN programming (school net program (SNP) and targeted mass campaigns (TMC)) supported by effective planning, supply chain coordination, and performance monitoring.
The Coordinator, ITN Systems (CIS) leads the planning, coordination, and performance management of end-to-end ITN programming under the RISE malaria program. This role ensures that ITNs are accurately quantified, efficiently delivered, equitably distributed, safely managed, and effectively used across implementation regions. Based in Dar es Salaam and reporting to the Program Manager, the CIS provides centralized technical oversight while maintaining close engagement with field teams and Government counterparts. The role is responsible for strengthening ITN systems management across planning, supply chain, warehousing, distribution, performance monitoring, reporting and reconciliation ensuring safety, integrity. The CIS works closely with the Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM), NMCP, PMO-RALG, region, and district teams to align national strategies with implementation.
