About the Program

The program focuses on improving maternal and newborn health outcomes by addressing key gaps in service delivery. The intervention adopts a comprehensive approach built on four core pillars: competency strengthening of healthcare providers, ensuring availability of essential commodities, promoting continuity of care across the pregnancy continuum, and enhancing community engagement.
Through targeted capacity building, supportive supervision, digital innovations, and system strengthening, the program aims to improve early identification and management of high-risk pregnancies, increase adherence to ANC protocols, and enhance service utilization.
The goal is to reduce low birth weight, prevent avoidable maternal deaths, and improve overall quality of care at public health facilities.
