 Jhpiego has been working in India since the 1980s in close partnership with national and state governments. With deep technical expertise and strong on-the-ground execution, Jhpiego helps design, test, and scale practical solutions and innovations that fit real-world systems across 11 thematic domains (Maternal and Newborn Health, Reproductive Health, Nutrition, Immunization, Comprehensive Primary Health Care, Human Resources for Health, TB and Infectious Diseases, Global Health Security, Women's Cancers, Non-Communicable Diseases, Digital Health).

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Project Coordinator based at New Delhi for Midwifery and HPV Programs. The position will contribute to providing programmatic and administrative support in the implementation of the program
activities and will report to Program Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Actively support the Program Advisor in providing programmatic and administrative support to ensure
timely conduction of all program activities as per the project work-plan.
• Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between state and national level, serving as a point of
contact for operational queries from the state to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Support the maintenance of strong professional relationships with government bodies and development

• Support the program teams in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, overseeing all aspects
of logistical arrangements and participant coordination.
• Ensure the timely procurement, management, and distribution of necessary resources, supplies, and
equipment required for successful project activity implementation.
• Monitor the progress of project activities against work plans, ensuring strict adherence to timelines.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of
interventions.
• Prepare regular progress reports in close coordination with the project team and stakeholders, ensuring data
accuracy, validation, and timely submission to internal and external partners.
• Undertake visits to assess site preparedness, service delivery and resource availability, and provide onsite
support as and when required.
• Assist in documenting project activities, success stories, challenges, and outcomes for inclusion in quarterly
and annual progress reports.
• Help in preparing high-quality presentations, detailed action points from meetings, and Information,
Education, and Communication (IEC) materials as per program needs.
• Support program team in compiling and formatting program activity reports to ensure consistency and
professionalism.
• Perform or assume other duties assigned by the supervisor to achieve the overall project goals.
• Support the team in administrative tasks related to program implementation, ensuring compliance with
Jhpiego’s policies and donor regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in arts, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Work, or Public Health.
• Master’s degree in any relevant discipline will be preferred (e.g., Social Work, Public Health, Public Policy,
Business Administration).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in programmatic, administrative, and data support functions.
• Experience of working in a similar role within the public sector, development sector, Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs), or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives is desirable.
• Proven experience in organizing large-scale events, training, or workshops.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with government officials and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong understanding of the public health landscape in India, particularly in maternal and child health
(preferred).
• Proficiency in writing technical and programmatic documents such as assessment reports, program reports etc.
