Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Coordination & Operational Support
  • Work closely with the National Program Manger to implement FDP activities at the state level.
  • Coordinate with State Nursing Councils, NHM, Nursing Directorates, and State Nodal centres to plan and execute training activities.
  • Ensure training quality at State Nodal Centres by overseeing adherence to guidelines, standards, and training protocols.
  • Provide logistical and operational support for training roll-out, planning calendars, and resource mobilization.
  • Maintain regular interactions with SNC faculty and administrators to ensure smooth program delivery.
  1. Gap Assessment & Readiness of State Nodal Centres
  • Conduct gap assessments, infrastructure evaluations, and readiness checks of SNCs for FDP implementation.
  • Track SNC preparedness regarding faculty availability, training infrastructure, digital readiness, and operational systems.
  • Identify gaps, document them, and support SNCs in developing readiness improvement plans.
  1. Mentorship, Capacity Building & Communities of Practice (COPs)
  • Establish and strengthen mentorship linkages between SNCs, medical colleges, district institutions, and program experts.
  • Facilitate and support Communities of Practice (COPs) for nursing faculty at the state level, promoting peer learning and problem-solving.
  • Assist SNCs in mentoring faculty, addressing implementation challenges, and improving teaching-learning practices.
  1. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
  • Collect, verify, and compile training data, progress updates, monitoring findings, and field insights.
  • Develop and produce high-quality program documentation, including:
    • reports and progress briefs
    • success stories and case studies
    • procurement plans
    • concept notes and technical summaries
  • Ensure timely submission of state-level reports and contribute to knowledge management processes.
  1. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with NHM, SNCs, nursing directorates, academic institutions, and implementation partners to facilitate coordinated program execution.
  • Support planning meetings, technical reviews, and state-level consultations.
  • Represent the program in state-level forums as delegated by the Program Advisor.
  1. Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support overall program and organizational goals.
  • Uphold organizational standards, ethical practices, and compliance requirements across all activities.

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing from reputed nursing college of India is essential.
  • 3-5 years of experience in academics (Teaching post master’s degree) and training coordination experience.
  • Experience working with State Nursing Councils, NHM, nursing institutions, or skill-building programs is desirable.
  • Understanding of competency-based training, blended learning, and supportive supervision.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with government and academic stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate training activities and support faculty mentoring processes.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and data management abilities.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, operational planning, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the state.
