Jhpiego seeks a Project and Technical Director to provide vision, leadership and direction for an anticipated global health security project in Ethiopia that aims to improve the country capacity and leadership in the prevention, early detection and response to infectious disease threats.
The Project and Technical Director will have overall responsibility for leadership, management and reporting of all project activities. The Project and Technical Director will be responsible for achieving the planned results set out for the project, as well as project deliverables and reporting, and serves as the primary point of contact with the donor. The Project and Technical Director will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short time frames while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. They will serve as the project’s main point of contact with CDC and the Ethiopia government on routine and strategic matters.
The project is expected to operate over a five-year period.
This position is contingent upon award and annual funding from CDC. Ethiopian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
Salary: Between 28,659 – 53,164 USD per annum.
