Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and support CST lead in development, implementation of comprehensive HIV care and support strategies at National and State level
  • Ensure SOPs alignment with national HIV policies, WHO guidelines, and PEPFAR requirements
  • Drive innovation in service delivery models and patient-centered care approaches

Clinical & Technical Expertise

  • Ensure implementation of test-and-treat strategies and viral load monitoring
  • Guide adherence support programs and retention strategies
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across care delivery points

Program Management

  • Supervise multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, nurses, counselors, and community health workers
  • Monitor program performance indicators and patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for care services as per NACO guidance

Capacity Building & Training

  • Design and deliver technical training for healthcare providers
  • Mentor clinical staff on best practices in HIV care and treatment
  • Build institutional capacity for sustainable program implementation
  • Support professional development of team members

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with government health authorities and implementing partners
  • Coordinate with laboratory services, pharmacy, and supply chain teams
  • Engage with community organizations and patient support groups
  • Participate in technical working groups and advisory committees

Quality Assurance & Monitoring

  • Establish quality assurance systems for clinical services
  • Conduct regular supportive supervision and site visits
  • Analyze program data and prepare technical reports
  • Lead continuous quality improvement processes

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, or related health field and Other Allied Health Sciences
  • Minimum 5 -7 years of experience in HIV/AIDS programming
  • Demonstrated experience with PEPFAR-funded programs preferred
  • Experience in resource-limited settings and global health programs
