Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, is implementing the Reaching Impact Saturation and Epidemic Control (RISE) program in Ethiopia. RISE is committed to saving lives and improving health outcomes by accelerating HIV epidemic control and strengthening global health security to prevent and respond to emerging disease threats. Leveraging over two decades of evidence-based practices from PEPFAR implementation, RISE addresses a wide range of health priorities including HIV, global health security (GHS), maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition (MNCH-N), tuberculosis (TB), malaria, data systems, and supply chain management.
As part of this effort, Jhpiego is seeking a skilled Grants Manager to oversee the full grants management cycle for the RISE Ethiopia MNCH-N project. This position plays a critical role in ensuring effective financial and sub-award oversight for all project partners. The Grants Manager will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and compliance of sub-awards and fixed amount awards (FAAs), ensuring alignment with donor requirements, Government of Ethiopia regulations, and Jhpiego policies.
This role involves close collaboration with sub-grantees to provide technical support, review financial and programmatic reports, and ensure timely reimbursements. The Grants Manager will also support project teams with budgeting, pipeline analysis, and donor reporting, while maintaining accurate and comprehensive grants documentation to support high-quality program implementation.
