The Sr. Program manager will work hand in hand with the senior management team to provide oversight to program implementation. This includes strategic, programmatic, technical, financial and grants management integrity of the MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL), Quality of Care (QoC) project to contribute to reduction of maternal and child morbidity and mortality in Nigeria, and to increase the capacity of health systems to sustainably support quality health care services. It is anticipated that MCGL project will support five states to implement RMNCH onsite capacity building, Nutrition, Referral and quality improvement activities. S/he will therefore support the operationalization the current MCGL workplan (July to March 2026) that aim to improve the maternal health and deaths in women of reproductive age at the national and State level. S/he will be responsible for oversight of work plan implementation, ensuring compliance with USG, other donors as appropriate and Jhpiego regulations, developing monitoring and early warning systems and supporting state offices in overall program management. The Sr Program manager will coordinate with the project team and oversee staff in country to ensure consultants/vendors achieve program goals. The Sr. Program manager will develop, maintain, strengthen and expand a collaborative approach and program documentation. He/she will serve as the primary point of contact on program management with donor and GoN stakeholders and will report to the Project lead. The role of the Sr Program Manager will extend to two or more projects as appropriate.
