In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. hese  programs  are  funded  by  USAID,  Takeda  Pharmaceutical  Company  Limited,  UNICEF, World HealthOrganization,University  of  Manitoba,  Bill  &  Melinda  Gates  Foundation,  Children’s  Investment  Fund  Foundation  (CIFF), MSD for Mothers and others.

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Program Officer (PO) based in Delhi. The PO will support the Born Healthy program and partnership strategies to strengthen the health programs. The position will
report to National Program Officer (NPO).

Responsibilities

1. Work under the guidance of the National Program Officer – Born Healthy to support the
streamlined rollout of the ANC strengthening intervention and its day-to-day operations at
the various states.
2. Assists NPO to achieve project deliverables and timelines as per desired quality and
specifications.
3. Liaise and coordinate with the team to provide troubleshooting support in the district and at
the facility level.
4. Support to organize and conduct virtual as well as in-person trainings, workshops, and onsite
coaching in consultation at the national level.
5. Ensure timely collection and collation of the data from e-Sansadhan and share actionable
reports with stakeholders.
6. Support supervisor in the desk review of the latest advancement in maternal heath as and
when required.
7. Provide data-backed technical support to strengthen partnerships strategies for the
organization.
8. Analyze partnership performance data to identify collaboration opportunites and
recommend strategies for improved engagement.
9. Prepare tailored presentations and reports for partners, demonstrating program impact and
aligning stakeholders on shared objectives.
10. Facilitate multi-sectoral engagement to harmonize partnership goals, ensuring trust and
transparency.
11. Utilize infographics,data visualizations to communicate complex findings to non-technical
partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, AYUSH, Pharma, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Microbiology. Master's degree in public health
• 0-3 years of experience in program support, data analysis and partnership management in public
health.
• Prior work with international NGOs, government health programs, or UN agencies.
• Experience in maternal/child health, health systems strengthening, or disaster response.
• Familiarity with the Indian health system, key stakeholders and relevant government
policies/strategies particularly National Rural Health Mission would be advantageous.
