Cervical cancer is both preventable and curable when detected early, yet it remains the second most common cancer among Filipino women, with approximately 12 women dying from the disease each day.
Jhpiego, an international non-profit organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, partners with governments, health professionals, and communities to advance innovations that save lives and improve the health of women and families. In the Philippines, Jhpiego collaborates with the Department of Health (DOH), local government units, the private sector, and civil society to help fulfill the country's commitment to the WHO Global Strategy to Accelerate the Elimination of Cervical Cancer as a Public Health Problem by 2030.
The SUCCESS (Scale-Up Cervical Cancer Elimination through Secondary Prevention Strategy) project supports this commitment by increasing access to optimal screening and early treatment technologies through capacity building, demand generation and community engagement, and demonstrating innovative service delivery models.
To support national scale-up efforts, Jhpiego seeks the services of a Layout Artist for the design and layouting of the following project-level technical products (toolkits, handbooks, and reference guides):
These materials will be turned over to the DOH and aim to inform and recommend policy, guide clinical practice and strengthen advocacy for a sustainable and effective cervical cancer control program.
