Jhpiego seeks a Project Director to provide vision, leadership, and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial integrity for an upcoming CDC-funded digital health workforce strengthening global project. The $125 million project aims to enhance health informatics capacity by focusing on workforce development activities. The project will operate over a 5 year-period.
The Project Director will be responsible for leadership, management, and reporting of project activities. They will be responsible for key decision-making and rapid problem-solving across various country contexts while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. The Project Director will serve as the project’s main point of contact with CDC on routine and strategic matters and will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with host country governments and key stakeholders at all levels, including international entities.
This position is contingent upon award from CDC.
