Jhpiego is seeking applications for the recruitment of a Finance Manager to provide support to the implementation operations of the USAID "Systems to End Malaria Burden Through Meaningful Engagement -II" (SEMBE II) project in Cameroon. The programme aims to 1) strengthen malaria prevention and case management activities in health facilities and at the community level, 2) strengthen management capacities at the district and regional levels to ensure control/supervision of malaria control interventions, 3) improve communication, the analysis and use of data for decision-making by strengthening the health information system. The program will run over a five-year period in the Northern Region of Cameroon.
The Finance Manager is recruited to support Cameroon's financial operations. He/she will provide leadership in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of the Office. The Finance Manager works closely with the Director of Finance and Administration, the Chief of Party, program staff, and others to ensure accurate financial and contractual reporting to Jhpiego's management team and partners. He/she will also ensure that financial systems and reports are consistent with standard accounting practices and comply with USAID and Jhpiego rules and regulations
