Jhpiego works closely with the Department of Health to help the country meet its commitments to the Cervical Cancer Elimination Global Strategy through the Scale-Up Cervical Cancer Elimination through Secondary Prevention Strategy (SUCCESS) and Centralized Laboratory Model for HPV Screening (CLAMS). The CLAMS Project builds on the progress on SUCCESS’ efforts in increasing access to optimal early diagnosis and treatment technology (HPV screening and thermal ablation). The project aims to contribute to increasing testing capacity of public facilities through the use of a centralized laboratory model to test HPV samples in highly urbanized cities of Metro Manila.
Building on footprint of the SUCCESS Project, the CLAMS Project aims to support demand generation and awareness activities for cervical cancer preventive services in the cities of Manila, Navotas, Quezon City, Taguig, and Muntinlupa through direct support for the conduct of health education and promotion activities. This includes reproduction and cascade of information, education and communication (IEC) materials to support delivery of preventive services at the community level.
Jhpiego seeks the services of individuals to provide copyediting services of the Cervical Cancer Elimination (CCE) Booklet for Community Health Education and Patient Navigation to support primary-level health care providers and lay health volunteers in providing CCE services at the community level.
