In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. Under the Project ARS2.0, Jhpiego is hiring for PHP Developer and his position will be based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The application developer will be responsible to manage all back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and application users. Be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. Maintain the central database and respond to requests from front-end developers.Conducting analysis of application requirements.Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.Troubleshooting application and code issues.Integrating data storage solutions.Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.Using clients' feedback to inform the creation of subsequent versions of each development. You can improve the functionality of existing systems.

Abilities/Skills

• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Cake and CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML and HTML5.
• have a deep understanding of MVC patterns.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Good knowledge of SQL and related databases, with a preference for those with MySQL experience.
• Experience working in Linux environment; and comfortable doing everyday tasks in Linux.
• Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications.
• Good understanding of website integration and software creation.
• Require demonstrable Ability to project manage.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, application development, information technology. software engineering, or similar is a plus.
• Atleast 3 years of previous experience creating scalable applications in PHP framework.
• Proficiency in github, information technology and application structure, problem solving, technology infrastructure.
• Experience in implementing the common 3rd party APIs.
• Knowledge of developing web services will be preferred.
• Experience developing responsive apps and mobile apps
