Maternal Newborn Health (MNH) Technical Advisor will support technical writing across the MNH team to create technical reports/briefs on research findings, conduct literature reviews of current evidence, compile and/or develop intervention-related toolkits and materials, develop research protocols, and contribute to manuscript development. The position will work collaboratively across TLI with the other technical units (e.g., family planning, quality improvement, innovations, health systems strengthening, community, and gender, and adolescent and youth health).
Jhpiego’s Technical Leadership and Innovation (TLI) office drives impact across Jhpiego’s core areas of work in women’s health (MNH, reproductive health and family planning, and women’s cancers), infectious disease (HIV/AIDS, Malaria, COVID response/global health security), and health systems strengthening, primary health care, immunization, and safe surgery. This dynamic team of technical leaders provides “best in class” technical leadership and support responsive to country needs and in pursuit of accelerated impact.
Jhpiego’s Maternal and Newborn Health team sits within the Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent (RMNCAH) division within TLI. The MNH team is a diverse group of clinical and program experts with deep experience in technical leadership and collaborative health system support in low-, middle-, and high-income countries across five continents, including fragile and conflict areas. Our team values and prioritizes collaboration with our field-based colleagues and local stakeholders, recognizing the critical importance of health system factors and quality of care in the success of interventions and sustained improvements. We are actively engaged in a wide range of global technical leadership, technical support to country programs, and implementation research across the continuum of care.

The salary range for this role is expected to be: $64,237 - $85,649.

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience.
