The Principal Investigator will hold ultimate accountability for project performance, providing vision, overall technical and programmatic leadership, and managerial oversight for this comprehensive HIV response for epidemic control, including well-designed, targeted, evidence-based and high-quality interventions for treatment, prevention, HIV Testing Services (HTS), TB/HIV integration, and care and support for PLHIV. The Principal Investigator ensures timely and cost-effective implementation and reporting, as well as the strategic, programmatic, technical and financial integrity, of the project. The Principal Investigator develops, maintains, strengthens and expands a collaborative approach with the donor, the MOHSS and other key in-country counterparts and stakeholders, focusing on cost-effective and compliant project implementation and capacity-building of our local partners. The Principal Investigator is responsible for achieving the planned results set out for the project, as well as project deliverables and reporting, and serves as the primary point of contact with the donor, local Namibian counterparts and partner institutions.
The project will operate over a five-year period. This position is contingent upon award from CDC.
