Jhpiego is looking for a creative and dynamic Sr Advisor, MNH Knowledge Solutions eager to lead AlignMNH’s efforts to collect, curate and connect MNH stakeholders to knowledge in meaningful ways to catalyze action. AlignMNH is a five-year initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) with the United States Department for International Development (USAID), and is guided by an International Steering Committee of 20 global thought leaders working in collaboration with a Secretariat led by Jhpiego. The initiative seeks to align global maternal and newborn health (MNH) priorities, metrics, financing and action in support of accelerated improvements in MNH and well-being in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Inclusive of a bi-annual conference series and an online Knowledge Hub, AlignMNH seeks to increase opportunities for sharing of technical evidence and program experiences, nurture opportunities for cross-country engagement, dialogue and learning and encourage use of metrics and application of evidence-based practices.
About this role:
Drawing on principles of knowledge management and behavioral science, this position will lead in the design and implementation of strategies and knowledge products that reach audiences where they are, with the evidence, resources and tools they need and in formats that encourage learning and action to improve uptake of best practices in MNH. The Sr Advisor will drive the development of and oversee AlignMNH’s Knowledge Hub and dissemination activities using targeted and innovative knowledge management, communications, advocacy and dissemination strategies that address different learning styles and maximize interaction and collaboration to inspire action. This position will also contribute to the development of communications for virtual convenings and the bi-annual international conference series.
