Overview

Jhpiego Indonesia seeks a Clinical Manager for the Pilihanku Program which is a Family Planning Program funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation working in 4 Provinces, 11 District and soon to expand to 6 Provinces and more than 20 Districts in Indonesia. Jhpiego is focusing on Post Partum Family Planning (PPFP) as a way to help increase MCPR by double the amount of women received counseling and adopt a method before leaving a facility at the selected facility. For year 4, Pilihanku is assisting BKKBN and KemKes to adopt Balance Counseling Strategy (BCS) as method to perform Family Planning counseling and to scale up to other districts in 4 selected provinces. The position will be based in Jakarta working to provide technical assistant in the process of adopting BCS as well as to be part of Jhpiego National team consisted of the Technical Leader and Clinical Specialist to scale up PPFP Program in selected district.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist National Team to develop training package of Balance Counseling Strategy and Technical Guidelines 
  • Assist Nasional Team in preparing and executing scale up activity
  • Represent Pilihanku in maintaining relationship with partner organization/institution (MOH, BKKBN, PPSDM, & Professional Organization)
  • Write progress report and activities report
  • Collect references, policy and seek necessary resources for BCS training modul
  • Collect data as requested
  • Perform administrative activities when requested

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or Public Health, preferably medical doctor or midwife with minimum 4 to 5 years of directly relevant experience required, clinical practice in labour and delivery, additional technical or collegiate education desirable
  • Background and experience in Family Planning Program, clinical trainer preferred
  • Experience writing report and training module
  • Significant experience working with MoH, BKKBN and related professional bodies
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and contextualizing clinical data
  • bility to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and pressure to perform
