Jhpiego seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to provide technical leadership, oversight and strategic direction for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for an upcoming Centers for Disease Control (CDC)-funded Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) project in Zimbabwe. The project aims to partner with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) in implementing evidence-based biomedical HIV prevention through VMMC to strive to reach more than 80% VMMC coverage in selected PEPFAR supported districts. The project will operate over a five-year period.
The Officer will provide technical leadership to develop project framework, plans and indicators to capture performance results and provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities. The M&E Officer will supervise and manage the M&E team to design and implement the VMMC project M&E activities, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes. The M&E Officer is responsible for documenting and disseminating project successes and challenges to CDC. The M&E Officer will liaise with consortium partners and the MOHCC to implement monitoring and evaluation activities.
