VMMC Providers needed to support a district-based voluntary medical male circumcision program in the uThungulu and eThekwini districts. Providers will work with other clinical staff to provide VMMC procedures to clients.
Leads a team of clinical and support staff in the delivery of safe, high-quality, high-volume VMMC services, including the use of the correct VMMC surgical technique by age
Works within a consortium of partnering organizations, including the supervisory structure of the placement facility, to assure that VMMC services run smoothly and VMMC targets are achieved.
Adheres to internationally recognized standards of quality in VMMC for HIV prevention
Ensure rapid reporting and response to any client adverse events
Supports monitoring and recording of service delivery data
Licensed/registered clinician, or clinical associate, trained in an accredited school/university
Experience in implementing HIV prevention programming preferred
Experience in leading a clinical team preferred
Familiarity and experience with VMMC for HIV prevention preferred
Able to take initiative and juggle multiple priorities without compromising high standards
Demonstrated ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy, as part of a team effort
Experience with QA/quality improvement and supervision approaches preferred
